The SecGirls Pillowfight begun as a string of smart-ass comments in Twitter between @jjx, @SecBarbie, and @hypatiadotca (See first mention of it by @jjx : http://twitter.com/jjx/status/1872563719). After some deliberation, it was seen as something that could be feasibly pulled off with proceeds benefiting not for profit charities/causes such as:
